Background
Attorney Kaye A. Y. Evans is a former Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the State of New
York. She was appointed as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Bureau of the Office of
the Attorney General. She is licensed in the State of New York. However, her practice is in Los Angeles, since
Immigration is Federal law and can be practiced in any State and even in foreign countries.
Since the early 1980’s, which is when she started her practice in Immigration Law, it has
remained her primary area of practice until the present time.
The practice of Immigration Law was initiated by her primarily because she was also an immigrant
and during her tenure in the Attorney General's Office in New York, she encountered immigrants from Europe who were
having complications with the Immigration Service and was successful in helping them obtain investment visas.
A decision was then made by her at that time to make the practice of Immigration Law her life's work. Since that
time, she have assisted several hundred other individuals in fulfilling their dreams of doing business, living,
working, and becoming citizens, in the United States.Member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association
and
Memberships
Long-standing member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the American Bar
Association.
Scope of the Practice
The scope of practice of American Immigration Law Office of Kaye A. Y. Evans is nationwide as
well as international. Immigration law is Federal (National) law and this makes it possible to represent
individuals in any of the 50 states and even in foreign countries. she has also recently added Social Security Law
to her practice.
She considers herself fortunate to have established precedent decisions, geared toward
protecting the rights of immigrants, in the United States Court of Appeals. Please feel free to review these cases
